Terms of Service
Last updated September 14, 2026
These terms cover a business's use of Tenvio, a customer retention and loyalty service for local businesses. By creating an account you agree to them.
Who can use Tenvio
Tenvio is for businesses. You must be able to enter an agreement on behalf of the business you are signing up, and you must be at least 18.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password private and making sure anyone you give access to uses it appropriately. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Your customers' information
The customer information you put into Tenvio is yours, and you remain responsible for it. Specifically, you agree that:
- You have the right to collect and use the customer information you enter or import.
- You will only send messages to customers who agreed to receive them, and you will honor opt-outs.
- You will not use Tenvio to contact people who never joined your program.
- You are responsible for following the laws that apply to your business and your customer communications, including rules about text messaging.
Tenvio provides tools to help — consent is recorded, opt-outs are enforced before any message is sent, and promotional sends require a recorded opt-in — but the decision to send is yours.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Send unsolicited or deceptive messages
- Message anyone who has opted out, or try to work around an opt-out
- Use Tenvio to send content that is unlawful, harassing, or misrepresents who is contacting the recipient
- Upload someone else's contact list that you have no permission to use
- Attempt to access another business's data, disrupt the service, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission
- Resell the service without an agreement with us
Messaging abuse puts the shared sending infrastructure at risk for every business on Tenvio, so we act on it quickly.
Text messaging
Messages are delivered through third-party carriers. Delivery depends on those carriers and on the recipient's device and plan, and we cannot guarantee that any particular message arrives. Message and data rates may apply to recipients. Details of how consent and opt-out work are in the Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
Tenvio uses other services to operate — payments, messaging, email, and hosting — and a business may choose to connect its own accounts, such as Square. Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for how a third-party service behaves or for data you choose to send to it.
Subscriptions and payment
Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis at the price shown when you subscribe. Trials and complimentary access, where offered, are described in the app. You can cancel from your billing settings; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not provide refunds for partial periods unless we say otherwise in writing.
We may change pricing for new subscriptions. An existing subscription keeps its price unless we tell you in advance.
No guarantee of results
Tenvio helps you track and contact your customers. It does not guarantee that customers will return, that revenue will increase, or that any particular campaign will work. Anything Tenvio shows you about customer behavior is derived from the activity you recorded, and is a description of that activity rather than a prediction.
Availability
We aim to keep Tenvio available and to notify you of significant interruptions, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice where a change materially reduces what you rely on.
Our content and yours
Tenvio, including its software, design, and brand, belongs to us. Your business content and customer data remain yours; you give us permission to process it in order to provide the service.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using Tenvio at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, puts messaging infrastructure or other businesses at risk, or fails to pay. Where the situation allows, we will contact you first. Ending an account does not delete your records immediately — see the retention section of the Privacy Policy.
Liability
Tenvio is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We will update this page when the service changes and will revise the date at the top. Continuing to use Tenvio after an update means the updated terms apply.
